ABOUT ME
Jeff Coggins is a photographer, printer, golfer, live music enthusiast, and storyteller based in Los Angeles, California. Born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Jeff's life has been an incredible journey, shaped by a passion for creativity, resilience, and unforgettable experiences.
Raised across Florida and the Midwest, Jeff found his calling in Los Angeles in 1984—prompted by a transformative experience watching Van Halen at the 1983 US Festival. With a background rooted in graphic arts, his career began early, managing an Insty Prints shop while still in high school. Jeff's perseverance carried him through over four decades of excellence in print production management. His expertise spans creative retouching, layout design, project management, and operational leadership.

Jeff's academic journey is as unconventional as it is inspiring. Despite "graduating" High School at Eau Claire's Memorial High School with an impressive ability to best 13 of his 405 classmates with a GPA of 1.333 and dropping out of college in 1984 with a GPA of 2.153, he returned in 2014 with renewed determination. Through relentless effort, he earned his BS in Management 2018 from the University of Wisconsin–Stout, achieving a final GPA of 2.936. Not stopping there, he earned his MBA at California State University – Northridge in 2022, finishing just shy of honors with a stellar 3.882 GPA at 60.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jeff is a natural storyteller and one of the original creators of "TMZ before TMZ." Alongside friends Dave King and "The Ponce," he co-founded Biff TV and The Ponce, capturing the vibrant and wild nightlife of Hollywood from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s. These adventures, chronicling celebrity encounters and iconic moments, live on today via YouTube.

When he's not behind the camera or reminiscing about Hollywood's golden nights, Jeff can be found perfecting his golf swing, attending live music shows, or finding new ways to channel his creative energy. His story proves that life is about reinvention, persistence, and chasing the moments that make it all worthwhile.
